Create a new campaign

Click on the “New Campaign” option from your campaign overview.

When booking advertising in Admarket, you can choose between two solutions: Simple Booking and Flexible Booking. The simple booking provides ready-made ad packages optimized for the best possible performance, while the flexible booking is suited for those who want more freedom to customize the advertising according to their own needs.

 

1. Simple Booking

With simple booking, you go through the following step-by-step options:

  • Targeting: Here you can set targeting options such as geography, desired audience size, as well as interests, gender, and age if you wish.

  • Budget and Period: Here you can choose the campaign period and either select predefined packages based on the desired reach or enter your own budget and number of impressions.

Next, you can upload your ad material directly during the booking. Click “Go to Asset Management” and follow the instructions. You can also choose to upload the material later via the campaign overview.
A campaign cannot go live without ad material; it must be uploaded at least 3 days before the campaign start.

 

2. Flexible Booking

  • Start by entering a campaign name. Choose a name that makes it easy to identify the campaign later. It is common to include elements such as website, device, targeting, and period in the name.

  • Next, you have more options for your campaign. You can start wherever it suits you in the booking flow. When you make a selection, unavailable options are automatically removed. For example, Desktop will not be selectable if you choose the ad format Board, which is only available for mobile.

  • Product: Under Product, you can choose which website you want the campaign to appear on. It can appear across multiple Schibsted sites or on a specific website, e.g., VG or Aftenposten. You can also add a category, such as homepage or finance.
    Then select the ad format you want and whether you want to target a specific device, such as mobile. You can read more about our ad formats by clicking [here] and selecting “Admarket” under “Buying Method.”

  • Targeting: Adding targeting is optional. You can choose from geography, interests, gender, age, and frequency, as well as additional options such as keywords. Choosing targeting will add a cost to the campaign.

  • Details: You can also select the campaign period, budget, and delivery type (this is adjusted based on the product choice and may be unavailable if the selected product has a specific delivery method). Any applicable discounts will also be displayed here.

 

Order Campaign

Once you have made all selections and reviewed your campaign settings, click “Order Campaign” to place your campaign.

After ordering, the campaign will appear in your campaign overview. You upload ad material afterward via the campaign overview.
The campaign cannot go live without ad material. You must upload it at least 3 days before the campaign start.
